OUR VISION
At ADL we are committed to providing a high level service and environment for those residing with us suffering from age related issues and mental health problems. We provide an element of tranquillity and peace to residents in our homes nationwide.

Our residents are mainly over pensionable age with the occasional exception. Information relating to the individual and the special needs of the resident is recorded upon admission in each home as well as periodically over the length of their stay in the home, all of these specific needs will be catered for by our friendly trained staff. We offer specialist care to those with Alzheimer, Dementia and Parkinson's disease.
We expect that old age and infirmity in the lives of most are obligatory, this means that many of our clients will be reliant on us in order to meet not only emotional but physical needs. Our principles are to accept the change in circumstances but promote the intrinsic value of people through therapy, family support, individual and group activities, community integration but most of all by enhancing well-being.
Many of our homes are able to cater for very specific and specialist care needs that may be more complex than usual.
These might include:
- Enduring Mental Ill Health
- Young Early Onset Dementia
- Complex Mental Health
- Management of Behaviours that pose a Challenge
- Respite and Support Services including Day Care and Respite
Our focus will always be on our residents. We want everything we do in our Home to be driven by the needs, abilities and aspirations of our Residents, not by what staff, management or any other group would desire. We recognise how easily this focus can slip and we will remain vigilant to ensure that the facilities, resources, policies, activities and services of each of our homes remains resident-led.

All of our homes are pet friendly (especially dogs but other animals also considered), we are open to pets living in the homes, we will provide care for them and complete a care plan for pets too.
